Why Harold Lewis?
Not just a name.
Founder Ryan Lewis’s grandfather ran a confectionery shop, a business built on hard work, community, and genuine care for the people it served. It was more than a shop; it was a place where relationships were built, where customers were known by name, and where pride was taken in every detail. In a quietly generous gesture, Ryan’s grandfather chose to name the shop after his wife rather than himself. Recognition was never the priority. Character and integrity were.
The business was later passed down to Ryan’s father and remained a proud family fixture for many years. It stood as a reflection of the values that shaped the family: modesty, resilience, honesty, and a commitment to doing things properly.
His grandfather’s name was Harold Lewis, and while his influence and principles have always been present in the family’s businesses, his name never sat above the door. When creating this company, it felt right to change that.
Harold Lewis is named in recognition of the generations who worked with integrity, humility, and pride in what they did. Those same values sit at the heart of the business today, shaping how people are treated, how clients are supported, and how food is prepared and served. It is a name that represents trust, responsibility, and standing by your word.
In many ways, this business is about carrying that legacy forward. It felt fitting that Harold Lewis now gets his name above the door.
